Olarain is a coeducational University Hall of Residence that works for the students training of its 165 residents from different backgrounds, academic profiles and cultures. Olarain is located on the Donostia campus of the Basque Country University which is next to Tecnun, of the University of Navarra and Musikene. Olarain is also close to the University of Deusto and the Basque Culinary Center.

Olarain is not only a conventional student’s residence providing accommodation and meals, it also promotes cultural and sports activities, personal development, coexistence and solidarity among the entire group to supplement the students training.
The services that make Olarain different from other university residences and
add value to the experience are:
Student tutorship department
- Personalized attention on the wellbeing of the students and his adjustment as well as on the academic orientation and arrangement to the environment.
- Close contact with the families regarding the situations of each resident, such as, psychological treatments, eating disorders, addictions or special personal situations.
Dinning room service:
- Monday through Sunday food service, with two alternatives for the first course, three for the second, side dish and dessert. The three services of the day offer grilled food at the moment.
- Special diets by medical prescription (allergies…) or by the students own decision (vegan, Muslim, vegetarian…).
- Picnic options for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

24 hours service
- 24 hours service with our specific workforce from 19:00 to 3:00. The main commitment of this person is to carry on regular rounds to make sure that studying is possible, silence is maintained in common areas and rest and respect prevailed.

At Olarain, we offer a living experience designed to support each student in every dimension of university life: academic, personal, and emotional.
Our minimum rate is €729,36 per month* for the full academic year and includes a wide range of services that ensure well-being, personalised support, and an optimal environment for study and community life.
All of this in an environment designed to make you feel supported, promote emotional well-being, and create the best conditions for high performance in both academics and sports.

According to your needs.
Starting from this base rate, the price is adjusted individually depending on:
- The type of stay, which may be from Monday to Friday or a full week.
- The meal plan, including special dietary requirements.
- Optional services, such as personal laundry cleaning or university transportation, as we offer transport to the University of Deusto and the Basque Culinary Center.

Here’s how to make your reservation
These are the steps to complete your reservation, whether it’s your first time coming to Olarain or you have stayed here before.
PRE-REGISTRATION
Fill out and submit the following documentation:
- Form with personal data.
- Document on deposit refund regulations.
- Signed document stating express acceptance of the Statutes, General Regulations, and Specific Regulations.
- Document dealing with banking information.
- Signed document on the protection of personal data.
- Attach:
- Recent photo against a white background.
- Photocopy of your national ID or passport. (back and front)
- Photocopy of your Social Security or Private Medical Insurance Card.
- Receipt for the €900 deposited into checking account with IBAN: ES50 2095 5206 04 1061940028 BIC: BASKES2B with Kutxabank, indicating the name ans surnames of the future student.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW WITH THE FUTURE STUDENT
After the documentation has been sent, the Director, Director of Residents, or the Tutor will contact you by phone in order to arrange a date and time for the compulsory interview. This interview is an essential requirement for final admission to the Colegio Mayor Olarain. Once completed, you will be contacted if admitted as a student.
FINAL ADMISSION
Once the personal interview is complete and the entrance exam score is sent, the Olarain Tutoring Department will confirm your reserved place via e-mail.
